Oh my gosh honeybun you're mum suffered for quite a long time didn't she? Heres me thinking 5/6 years tops. Maybe its wishful thinking!! I'm so sorry, hope shes well now.

Have to laugh, as my symptoms started I reckon about 10 years ago, so there's me thinking "oh good, only another 5 to go then ..... "  :)

She is fine now just a very very old lady.

She eventually went places and did things that I never ever thought she would. She had an early menopause in her early 40s so by the time she was in her early 60s she was fine.

I am sure we will all move forward from this and come out the other side better than before.

  ;D

Is it safe to say that if you start meno early you're likely to have symptoms for longer until you reach post meno at 52/53 ish? Whereas if you start late 40's early 50's symptoms wont go on as long.

Nope don't think so. It's just the luck of the draw as we are all different.

It's like asking .....How long is a piece of string.
