There's a lot of referred aching too where the mouth is pulled around so that the dental work can proceed ......... is she on ABs and pain relief?

Glad she has seen someone but bruising and pain can occur upto 48 hours after extraction. I had a big wisdom removed and about a day and a half later woke up one morning in agony. Called the dentist the next day (as of course it started on a Sunday!) but that's all they could say, take pain killers etc. Anyway, the pain lasted 3 flipping weeks and I don't know how many extra strength Nurofen I got through! It happens when the clot doesn't form properly.

Fortunately the next one out was a piece of cake but I do feel for her. Can she take Arnica tablets as that will help with internal bruising.
