Drooling!
« on: September 01, 2013, 04:21:53 PM »

I know this sounds bizarre, but does anyone else wake up plastered to the pillow :)
I am not sure why but I seem to produce an excessive amount of saliva at night and my pillow is always wet in the morning, I hate it as it stains the inners and is really not pleasant, I dont have dentures or anything, just not sure why this would happen during sleep, any ideas?

My husband does this - his pillow always ends up badly stained.  I think it is just one of those things, some people do, unfortunately.  Not quite so embarrassing as waking up on the train to find you have been drooling!  :o

I wish I could sleep sound enough to drool. I only seem to do it when I have a cold. How are your sinuses as if you have to breath through an open mouth then you will drool.
Do you waken up with a dry throat.

Yep. If you sleep with open mouth.
Throat, tongue and mouth are likely to be dry.

Nope sinuses are fine, I just seem to produce way too much saliva and it runs out in a trickle :)

It's a good look isn't it?   :)
Don't fret, too much saliva is probably better than too little.
