So the Sussex pair are  not going to share news of the baby until after they have shown it to the family.  That's a real break with royal tradition but apparently what they  want however  I guess more like what Meghan wants.  She does seem to want to attract more and more attention to herself and her ideas by doing stuff like this.  A few minutes photocall and it would all be over and done with.

I also suspect it has a lot to do with the gaping chasm between her and her father.

Hello Ladies.

I'm not really a royalist but I was wondering what has happened to this baby. I realise that Brexit has been dominating the news but still...

Stellajane - I like your comment about first time mothers! I seem to remember believing I could cope with anything and would manage a pain free birth just by deep breathing. The hormones were on my side back in the day and I was calm and confident. Needless to say events didn't go as planned and after a forty eight hour labour, an epidural, epesiotomy and forceps the size of crutches my darling daughter was born. She was worth it though as all babies are.

Take care everyone.

I'm not a royalist, I couldn't care less, but I suspect there's trouble
on the horizon, if we believe what's in the papers, that is....

I think she's already rocking the boat.
I also think your hubby is right, stellajane.
I also think she'll rock the boat so much, that both of them will be trouble.
You can see he's totally in love with her, anything she does will have his backing, and if that means rubbing people up the wrong way, or breaking any rules, then, he'll be with her.
He won't care, what did he say,'whatever she wants, she gets!'
There's already trouble between him and his big brother.....
What happened to Diana, changed my way of thinking about them, she was THE best thing to ever step into the royal family, and look what happened to her!
I like William and Kate, in small doses, but I can't help thinking Mmm, somethings not right here, with the other two!  Time will tell I suppose......😉

I will be so pleased when she has had the baby then we won't have to see photos of her cradling her bump.

Apparently, if we believe what the papers say that is, is that there's a rift between them.
William doesn't like the fact that his sister in law spent sooo much money on her baby shower, and that she's involved with too many celebrities, apparently, the royal family, don't include their celebrity friends, with anything ‘royal'. They keep the two separate.  ?
Amongst other things, which I can't remember, apparently they even had words on the wedding day itself.
But you know what the papers are like...who really knows..?

I think she's going to annoy many royalists who would be her supporters. Personally the less I see of her the better but for many people it's a big event. Imo the only justification is if they think there might be something wrong with it.
