Vitamins
« on: June 19, 2013, 01:52:00 PM »

Hi I've never been one to take any vitamins but all I hear is now I'm going through the menopause I should definitely be taking vitamins but which ones? The only vitamin I take is Vitamin D, I take 3 tablets (which you chew) a day. The reason I take Vit D is because I am on steroid tablets for joint problems. I would really appreciate any advice anyone can give me. I haven't got the best of diets I will be honest so perhaps as I'm getting older (52) I should be taking vitamins.

Hi there,

I am 47 and take daily - one menopace tablet, 2 calcium/vit d tablets, a promensil every second day and a seabuckthorn capsule.

Am a rattling but feel ok with no HRT :)

Hi thanks very much for your reply.  I'm not on any HRT either, the health scares have put me off going on it.

The risks are much less than we used to think Jeanne. This is under the news section on this site
