Someone was asking about vaginal atrophy - can't find SuzyQ's Very Good Thread so here's my own.

I also have interstitial cystitis and use vagifem hardly any symptoms at all. My va is well managed. I also have a weekly bath with aveeno colloidal oatmeal bath to re hydrate. Works a treat

I used Ovestin 2 nights ago and have had the symptoms which sent me to the GP initially  ::).  Wanting to wee more, heavy feeling round the belly area …….. bugga.  Don't know if anxiety is contributing ……..

Would Vagifem be better …. seeing GP soon for annual review.

I think Vagifem is more accurate and certainly less messy. It adheres to the wall and then melts slowly to deliver an accurate amount.

Might be worth a try CLKD. Sometimes after a long time things stop being quite as effective.

Could you have a little infection.....as you've said in the past, we can't put everything down to meno.

Drink plenty and have a rest.

 :thankyou:

I'm resting.  I think it's anxiety.  Aggravating the bladder.  Off to make a cuppa ……..
