Lucky Stone my daughter did get best to avoid pink for our DGD. Didn't work. From very young age DGD was allowed to pick clothes in shops and she loved pink.

Fashion went awol today for me too. Cosy joggers and jumper to keep warm was the order of the day.

Nope! and Nope! the heating is off all morning as we are out and about or doing chores, then when we sit down for lunch we put it on low and leave it until it goes off around now.  The Therm reads 65 this evening but it feels cooler.  DH took a look at me a short while ago and wondered out loud how many layers I have on ....... "for someone short you look bundled up"  ;D - but (see other thread) he didn't venture to say he would help me undress to see how many layers I DO have on - missed a trick there?

Slippers - always slippers, or wellies when working out doors.

Today I have had several changes of clothing - it was raining all night and looked even colder so put several layers on: then found it was warmer so changed working jeans and cardy for smarter jeans and 2 jumpers ........ then added a coat over the top when we went shopping.

I would rather have layers to remove than regret not wearing enough  ;)

I've had 2 catalogues through the post recently and got to wondering  ::) ……… some of the on-line reviews are off-putting though.

I love JB style but having bought a couple of things for my daughter in the past when she was young and single I found the sizing a bit on the small side and the quality did not match the price. Just my opinion.

I have recently dispensed with jeans, unless I am doing dirty work, as I am nearing 60, I just don't look right in them any more. I am favouring more treggings (too much butt for leggings  ::)) and long tops or trousers with cotton jumpers.

And lots of layers to save dragging stuff over my head 10 times a day  :)

I miss my thick chunky jumpers but can't stand them now, or anything with man made fibre, they make me so hot  :hotflash:

I live in leggings and long tops when I'm not in work.

Love Joe Browns clothes but be prepared to receive catalogues for ever once you have bought something off them.

My mother wore jeans until her late 70s  ;D. I'm not talking Levis....sort of dressy ones.

My feet are ageless  ;D, it's the one thing that I can wear what I want. I have unreasonably high that I totter in. Flip flops, wedges.....Don't care, if it's a nice colour I will have it.

I have been buying some nice warm jumpers and cardigans in preparation for colder weather. Also need some jegging/leggings type things.
