Saturday shopping trips on the bus to Hillards with Mum and Dad and Friday night shopping at Fine Fare. When we got home my brother and I were allowed to munch our way through a packet of Paradise Fruits while Mum and Dad unpacked the shopping.

Happy Days  :)

I do remember the orange and white logo of fine fare but can't remember where the shop was!  I don't remember hilliards. National petrol was another around that time.
The television seemed much better in those days!

I had an after school job in Fine Fare -! dreaded tea break when the butcher boys would tease and make me blush crimson. I had to stamp prices on tins and wipe them off with meths and re-stamp when prices changed - no barcodes in those days!
