Thanks for the translations Girls ............. merci

I greeted Himself with Salut this morning and he looked very puzzled  ;D ............

I found in Class that if it was written in front of me it jogged the memory enough to be able to speak it - when the board was blank, so was my brain  ::)

He's had his MP3 player on with a french learning tape today ...... in between each race  ::)

The last time I was in France I tried to order (wine) in french,  this prompted a determined outburst of English from the natives.
I can take a hint!

limpy - that happened to me in Spain. I was doing my best to ask something in a shop and the young Spanish man serving me said
"You can ask me in English you know"

I felt suitably chastised  :-\

Many years ago we went to France camping  :o not far from Tours.

The owner of the small supermarket in the village spoke to us in English but told us in French the items we had in our basket but what we didn't realise that, after 5 days she was no longer prepared to translate  ::)

Je suis fatigue, aussi je suis un petit mal!  :(  I am tired, a little bit ill.

Have been coughing myself stupid since bad winds on Monday, which I thought had irritated my asthma.  However, still coughing a lot.  So bought myself some nice Blackcurrant Benylin to sooth it.  Was supposed to be having flu jab next Tuesday & blood tests, but I've put that off for another week.  I'm hot one minute & cold the next so guess it's the start of a cold.  Grrrrrr.  Try translating that lot into French!  ;D

I'm loving this thread and hoping I can learn something.  My ---- iPad just changed everything that I typed in French to English, but wait I think I can make it type in French.  Maybe not.

J'étais à un Fayre de Mariage aujourd'hui avec la fille dans la loi pour être, me mettre vraiment dans l'humeur pour le mariage.
I was at a Wedding Fayre today with my daughter in law to be, really put me in the mood for the wedding.
(And I'm an awful cheat, I looked this up on a translation site, copied and pasted it!!!  ::)  Sorry, but it might help us all the same!  ;D

When I changed my iPad to French, everything on the iPad changed, except what I typed, which remained in English.  Unlike Taz, I did not cheat!  (Because I couldn't).

(But I tried to, lest anyone think it was a moral dilemma.)
