Walking Therapy

I have lots of books of local walks.  We have lovely countryside within an hour's drive too.

I worked out yesterday whilst driving by a walk we did regularly and the GPS said 'drive 1.5 miles and turn L into ...... ' which was our road a quarter of a mile from the house.  So it was 3.5 miles there and back from house to forest to that point B4 we walked round the woods .......... so that was probably at lest 6 miles every Sunday morning.  Plus 3 miles x 2 daily.  At weekends we would drive to other walks which would be anything from 2-6 miles.  Plus there would be those walks up and down  8), as well as 2 weeks twice a year in the Lakes.
