They are doctors not historians, social scientists or statisticians.
I am not going to be drawn into an argument about this it's been done to death on the forum many times. This fact is if you prefer HRT to a natural method that fine. Choosing a natural method is also fine.
Each to there own.

They weren't making any kind of historical observation because they're not historians, they're doctors. And their professional opinion, that the female body isn't designed to function without oestrogen, is based on the minimum of 15 years medical training in order to reach consultant.
